The Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster is an incredible recreation of the Jimmy Page Dragon Telecaster, giving you a chance to own a piece of rock music history.

Enter the Dragon
The Jimmy Page Dragon Telecaster started life very differently to how it ended up.

Originally owned by Deltones guitarist John Owen, this now legendary ’59 Telecaster went through numerous hands before eventually being gifted to Jimmy Page in 1966 by none other than Jeff Beck as thanks for helping him out earlier in his career.

After taking ownership of the Telecaster, Page “re-decorated” it numerous times before giving it the famous “dragon” design, hand-painted by Page himself.

This extremely unique Fender Telecaster was used throughout the final years of the Yardbirds, was immortalised on Led Zeppelin’s debut album and even provided the guitar solo on Stairway to Heaven.

Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster Key Features:
Ash Body with Satin Lacquer Finish
Road Worn Nitrocellulose Lacquer Maple Neck
Jimmy Page Custom Thin "D" Neck Profile
Rosewood Fretboard
Jimmy Page Custom Tele Pickups
Custom Refractive Pickguard
Includes Vintage Style Hardshell Case
Death and Rebirth
Used as the main guitar on the first Led Zeppelin album, the sound of Jimmy Page’s Telecaster changed the path of rock music forever.

Unfortunately, however, the original Jimmy Page dragon guitar effectively died after a friend provided a new paint job which ruined the electronics.

But the time has come for a revival.

In Jimmy’s own words; “Because of the heritage of this guitar, because it comes from Jeff [Beck] and goes through the whole of the first [Led Zeppelin] album… I wanted to recreate the original guitar, so it would travel beyond what it originally was.”

The dragon rises again and now you have the chance to own an incredible piece of rock music history.

The Incredible Recreation
As with the legendary original ’59 Telecaster, the Fender Jimmy Page signature Telecaster is made from Ash with its beautiful natural grain visible beneath the satin lacquer finish.

With its single cutaway body, you get easy access to the higher frets – essential when performing your own rendition of Stairway to Heaven guitar solo.

Attached to the body is a road worn nitrocellulose lacquer finished Maple Neck. It has a Jimmy Page custom thin "D" profile so it plays exactly how Page wants it.

Atop the neck is a traditional Rosewood fretboard holding 21 vintage size frets so you get that authentic playing feel.

Visually Stunning
The psychedelic dragon imagery that was originally hand-painted by Jimmy Page himself has been painstakingly recreated, looking identical to the original art.

Furthermore, just like on Page’s own Telecaster, the Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster has a custom refractive pickguard which creates a beautiful spectrum of colours when light shines on it.

On the rear of the headstock, you’ll find a Jimmy Page signature graphic, denoting this Telecaster’s authenticity as a Jimmy Page signature guitar.

Authentic Electronics
In order to get the awesome guitar sound made famous on tracks such as Dazed and Confused and Stairway to Heaven, the Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster requires authentic electronics.

Achieving this incredible fete, the guitar has been fitted with Jimmy Page Custom Tele pickups to really nail the tone, going from clean and pristine to crunchy and wailing.

A 3-way pickup selector is installed so you can choose between either pickup or a combination of the two while Master Volume and Master Tone knobs allow for further sonic shaping.

High Quality, Vintage Style Hardware
On the body of the Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster, you’ll find a 3-saddle vintage style tele bridge with threaded steel saddles. This provides fantastic intonation while increasing sustain.

Up on the headstock, you’ll find Fender vintage-style tuning machines for precise and secure tuning of your strings while providing that authentic, old-school appearance.
