Introducing this Great Condition Pre Loved Ernie Ball Music Man Luke II Steve Lukather Signature, Luke Blue w/Case
Built in September 2000 Ernie Ball Music Man Luke II in near mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Finished in Luke Blue, this second iteration of Music Man's Steve Lukather signature model is loaded with an HSS EMG pickup set.
Tonewoods include an alder body, figured maple neck, and 22 fret slab rosewood fingerboard, and the EMG pickups offer a broad, articulate range of tones. The 85 bridge position humbucker is a powerful pickup with exceptional tone and versatility. The Alnico magnets provide a muscular growl and smooth lead tones well-suited to everything from the blues to the most extreme metal. The SLV single coils in the middle and neck positions are similar to the SAV pickup, offering increased coil windings for a meatier tone. Flat Alnico V pole pieces (not a bar) are hidden under the solid cover, and the pole pieces' proximity to the strings delivers more output and punchier attack.
The maple neck has a soft V-shaped profile carve with faintly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .845" deep at the 1st fret and .945" at the 12th. The neck profile has Music Man's proprietary gunstock oil and hand-rubbed special wax blend, highlighting birdseye figuring in the maple that extends the length of the profile. The rosewood slab fretboard has a 12" radius, and the wide, low profile fretwire is flawless, playing cleanly up the straight neck and 25 1/2" scale. The compensated nut measures 1 5/8" in width, and the headstock features Schaller M6 locking tuning machines that offer ideal stability.
