Impeccably well kept and complete with the original two-button footswitch, this Deluxe looks great and truly captures the tonal qualities of the original Blackface design. The Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue was designed for rock, country or blues players that want a moderately powered amp they can crank up on the gig. The full, snappy guitar tones heard on many famous recordings from Memphis to Abbey Road were made using the Deluxe amp. The tube driven reverb is very lush, with great decay, and the tremolo circuit has a strong pulse and wide range of speeds from swampy and slow to machine gun fast! This particular iteration of the blonde '65 Deluxe reverb sports a Fender "Special Design" by Weber speaker, built by Eminence. The 6V6 power tubes have plenty of life left, are properly biased, and are quite efficient, allowing the player to get the most out of the Deluxe's 22 watts for everything from spanky cleans to smooth overdrive at high volumes. Cosmetically, this amp is extremely clean with barely any wear on the rough blonde tolex. The wheat grillcloth has no snags or tears, and the Blackface faceplate and black skirted "witch hat" knobs are all intact with clean silver inserts. The original two-button footswitch is included with original manual and Fender sticker.
