Seymour Duncan 84-40 was manufactured for a few years between 1989-91, and it boasts a delicious, compact tube combo. Its power is driven by four EL84 valves, similar to that of a Vox AC30, but the sound is more reminiscent of a Fender-style amp. The 2x10" speaker setup delivers a robust, full-bodied, and clean tone with plenty of low-end presence and punch. With push/pull switches on the gain knobs, you can easily achieve a boost and dial in smooth and sustained lead tones with ample gain. This tube amp is perfect for gigs and has plenty of volume to support various pedal effects.
