Wolfgang Jellinghaus
Wolfgang Jellinghaus Guitars: A Blend of Tradition and Innovation
Wolfgang Jellinghaus began his guitar-making journey in Germany at the tender age of 14. Over the years, he has left an indelible mark on the classical guitar world. In 1983, he designed the first line of Martinez guitars, making a name for himself internationally, as these guitars were later sold in over 30 countries.
Since 2013, Jellinghaus has revived his passion for guitar-making through his project, Milestones of Music. Inspired by the greatest guitar builders of the past 250 years, including names like Lacote, Torres, Hauser, Ramirez, Dammann, and Esteso, Wolfgang Jellinghaus crafts instruments that pay homage to these legendary figures.
