Jose Ramirez 1A "AM" 1962 Concert Classical Guitar, Used w/ case

A very special piece of classical guitar history made during the golden age of the Jose Ramirez III workshop in Madrid.

The 1A model was the top model and played by classical guitar luminaries such as Christopher Parkening, Laurindo Almeida and most famously Andres Segovia.

This guitar was built by Antonio Martinez Ortega hence the "AM". 

Antonio Martinez built Segovia's famous 1969 1A and an "AM" model is one of the most desirable and collectable from this period.

This instrument has the quintessential "Spanish" tone from this era and would suit a player, collector or both.

It is in good playable condition with the original finish. (Please note the finish from this era is slightly dull and is part of it's vintage appeal).

Cedar soundboard, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, Spanish cedar neck with an ebony fretboard.
