OME 5-String Banjo Strings are custom made by Dddario. They are nickel-plated steel and have chenille-wrapped ends to eliminate unwanted overtones -- and they look cool too. Medium gauge (010, 012, 014, 022w, 010).

CHENILLED ENDS - Strings are plain steel and nickel wound, medium gauge, 010 012 014 022w 010. The fuzzy wrapping on the ends helps to kill the unwanted overtones on open back banjos fitted with no-knot tailpieces, and they look cool, too.
