At its core, the Orion 25 features a Brownface-meets-Blackface preamp that balances creamy overdrive with articulate cleans. The 6V6-powered Bassman-style power section produces up to 23 watts of pure tube tone (or 14 watts in half-power mode), offering the perfect blend of responsiveness, compression, and bloom.

A solid-state rectifier tightens the low end and adds clarity, while maintaining the organic feel of tube sag. The true tube-driven Harmonic Pulse Tremolo brings lush, three-dimensional movement reminiscent of 1960s amps, complemented by an Accutronics spring reverb with Mix and Dwell controls for full spatial control.

Each Achillies Orion 25 is handwired point-to-point using Teflon-coated silver Mil-Spec wire, Sprague Orange Drop capacitors, and Achillies Black Gold capacitors (Made in Germany) for exceptional tonal integrity and reliability. Custom U.S.A.-wound transformers and a premium pine cabinet with dovetail joinery ensure both resonance and durability.
