Bourgeois
Bourgeois Heirloom Series D - Vintage Adirondack #10536
Over the last eighty years, the dreadnought has become the world’s most popular acoustic—and this Bourgeois take shows exactly why. With its deep body, wide upper and lower bouts, large air cavity and long 25.5" scale, it delivers the classic combination of huge projection, rich low end, and cutting power that works on any stage.
Dana Bourgeois also rethought traditional dreadnought bracing. By scalloping only the bass side of the X-brace and lightening the tone bars, he counteracts the tendency of large guitars to become overly bass-heavy as the top relaxes under tension. The result is a more balanced, articulate dreadnought with strong lows, clear highs, and great responsiveness right from the start.
