AER Replacement Front Foam For Alpha

Freshen up your AER Alpha 40 with this front grille foam featuring the AER logo, cut to size specifically for the Alpha 40 model. It’s designed as a direct replacement for worn, torn, or tired original foam, restoring the amp’s clean factory appearance while sitting neatly over the protective perforated grille plate behind it.

Fitting Instructions (As Supplied)

1. Remove the old foam without leaving residue.

2. Behind the foam is a bolted perforated plate that protects the speakers.

3. Mix wood glue + water in a 1:3 ratio.

4. Stir well and keep the amplifier upright to prevent drips onto the speaker.

5. Paint the grid with the glue and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

6. Lay the amplifier on its back (on a soft surface) and press the new foam onto the grid.

7. After another 5 minutes, the foam should be firmly attached.
