The JJ Electronic ECC83S Gold Pin is a high-gain dual triode preamp valve and the primary European equivalent of the 12AX7. Manufactured at JJ Electronic’s Cadca factory in Slovakia, this version features gold-plated contact pins for improved contact resistance and long-term reliability in critical signal-path positions.

The ECC83 / 12AX7 is widely used as a preamp valve in guitar amplifiers and audio equipment. The JJ ECC83S provides high gain and low noise, making it well suited to the first gain stage of guitar amplifiers as well as phono preamps and hi-fi preamplifiers.

Compatible with equipment specifying ECC83, 12AX7 or 7025 valves, the ECC83S Gold Pin uses a standard Noval base and is supplied as a single valve.
