The Takamine 60th Anniversary LTD Acoustic Guitar (“THE 60TH”) is an exceptionally rare, collector-grade instrument, handcrafted in Japan to celebrate six decades of Takamine craftsmanship. With only 60 pieces produced worldwide, this model represents the absolute pinnacle of Takamine design, tone and artistry.

Constructed from solid Hawaiian koa for the top, back and sides, this guitar delivers a rich, dynamic voice with warm lows, clear highs and a complex, evolving midrange. A unique 3-piece ebony and spruce bracing system enhances resonance and responsiveness, allowing the instrument to project with clarity and depth while remaining highly expressive.

The design draws from a classical-inspired concert body with cutaway, offering a comfortable playing experience while maintaining excellent tonal balance. A mahogany neck paired with an ebony fingerboard provides a smooth, precise feel, complemented by Takamine’s renowned attention to detail and build quality.

Visually, the guitar is striking, featuring extensive abalone purfling and intricate inlay work, along with a genuine diamond inlay on the headstock and a detailed anniversary motif at the 12th fret.
