Cole Clark's 'TRUE HYBRID' models are the perfect solution for modern musicians seeking new and exciting products. The designs originated from the request of many electric guitarists who utilized retrofit sound hole pickups to achieve a distorted sound. However, this method usually ruined the rosette and the placement of the pickup was suboptimal. To best replicate an electric guitar tone, the bridge pickup is necessary. With the True Hybrid models, electric musicians can enjoy the best of both worlds in one instrument with a correctly placed, fine tuned, and stable dual output guitar. In other words, an acoustic guitar should be plugged into a PA system, while an electric is best suited for an amplifier.
