Originally designed in collaboration with Guthrie Govan as his ultimate “flying amp,” the Victory V30 The Jack MKII refines and expands upon the original V30’s winning formula. Compact, powerful, and incredibly versatile, this 42-watt all-valve head now includes an all-new Clean-channel Crunch mode and the innovative footswitchable “Nomod” bass response function, delivering even more tonal flexibility for stage, studio, or home use.

The V30 MKII retains the amp’s distinctive two-channel design — sparkling high-headroom cleans and rich, harmonically complex overdrive — but now adds a third voicing via the new Crunch mode. This additional gain stage pushes the clean channel into dynamic bluesy drive and light overdrive tones, making it perfect for players who need a smooth transition between clean and dirty sounds.

The Nomod switch allows players to choose between the original low-end response and a tighter, punchier bass characteristic — ideal for heavier or more focused modern tones. Guthrie Govan himself praised this refinement, noting how the tweak adds enhanced definition without losing warmth.

Whether running in High Power (42W) for stage headroom or Low Power (7W) for recording and practice, the V30 MKII maintains its signature clarity and punch. It also features an external bias adjustment and a bias range switch to easily accommodate EL34 or 6L6 power valves, plus a series effects loop for seamless integration with pedals.

Housed in a deluxe wooden sleeve with leather corners, handle, and a premium Victory logo, The Jack MKII combines boutique craftsmanship with modern functionality.
