The Victory VX The Kraken MKII takes everything players loved about the original Kraken and adds a new level of flexibility and tonal power. Compact yet ferocious, this 50-watt all-valve head delivers a stunning range of British and American-inspired tones—from sparkling cleans to tight, modern high-gain distortion—all in a rugged, travel-ready format that’s equally at home on stage, in the studio, or at home.

Built around four 12AX7 preamp valves and two 6L6 power tubes, the VX The Kraken MKII offers three footswitchable modes — Clean, Gain I, and Gain II — giving you everything from warm cleans and classic crunch to blistering high-gain aggression. Gain I delivers open, British-inspired rhythm tones, while Gain II unleashes tight, saturated modern distortion perfect for progressive players and extended-range guitars.

The updated Master Volume design allows for two independent, footswitchable master levels, ideal for lead boosts or balancing tones between channels. A new Presence control and switch bring fine-tuned control of high-end response, while the Bass Focus switch lets you shape the low end from tight and percussive to full and resonant.

For players who rely on pedals and effects, the series effects loop ensures transparent integration, and it’s completely out of the circuit when bypassed. Despite its formidable output and tonal range, the VX The Kraken MKII weighs in at just 9.2 kg, and is small enough to fly as hand luggage.
