Benson Delay Pedal
Benson Delay Pedal
Floaty, Colorful Repeats with Analog Soul
The Benson Delay Pedal delivers the lush, organic warmth of vintage tape and bucket-brigade echoes with modern reliability and versatility. Designed for players who crave movement, musical degradation, and atmosphere, this delay brings a world of sonic color — from subtle warble to swirling chaos.
Expressive Delay Range
Covering a wide 30ms to 1250ms range, the Benson Delay easily handles quick slapback, chorus, and vibrato effects or stretches into haunting, ambient soundscapes. Every setting maintains musicality and texture — never sterile, always alive.
Warble and Movement
A highly responsive Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) offers sine, square, and random waveforms, giving you control over modulation depth and speed. Dial in tape-like flutter, seasick wobble, or unpredictable analog motion — the kind of imperfections that make tone feel human.
Tap Tempo Perfection
Powered by Bontempo technology (developed by Electric Canary and refined by Octave Zangs), the Benson Delay boasts the most accurate tap tempo ever implemented in a PT2399 circuit. The pedal even calibrates itself automatically for flawless tempo syncing.
Alien Feedback Mode
Hold the Tap knob to push the feedback into self-oscillation, creating infinite echoes, soaring drones, or wild “alien invasion” sounds — perfect for performance or sound design.
Analog Smoothness
Unlike many digital delays, the Benson Delay eliminates time-change glitching. Its analog-style filtering, gooey compander chip, and carefully tuned gain staging create smooth, natural repeats with a uniquely musical decay.
