The kit features two 550K Emerson Premier Pro potentiometers, a prewired Switchcraft 1/4" mono jack and an Emerson Bumblebee 0.022µF Paper in Oil capacitor. The assembly is wired with 22 AWG external-braid vintage push-back wire, with heat-shrink insulation used on the jack connections for durability.

'50s-style wiring reduces the typical treble loss experienced when rolling back the guitar's volume, while allowing the volume and tone controls to interact more dynamically. This provides a responsive control range and makes it easier to clean up an overdriven amplifier directly from the guitar's volume control.
