Bourgeois
Bourgeois Touchstone Series Vintage OM
The Bourgeois Touchstone Series brings Dana Bourgeois’ legendary tone and craftsmanship to a wider audience, offering hand-voiced tops, premium tonewoods, and boutique-grade performance at an accessible price point. With over fifty years of luthiery experience, Dana personally oversees the selection and voicing process that defines the unmistakable Bourgeois sound.
Old-Growth Sitka Paired with Adirondack Bracing
Every Touchstone soundboard begins with old-growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce, carefully chosen and hand-voiced by Dana himself. Once approved, each top is braced using Adirondack Spruce from Maine, following Bourgeois’ revered voicing system — a refined technique developed over decades to maximise response, clarity, and dynamic sensitivity.
This combination of tonewoods and craftsmanship produces exceptional projection, harmonic complexity, and touch responsiveness.
A Collaboration Between Bourgeois & Eastman
The Touchstone Series is built through a unique partnership:
-
Tops are hand-voiced in the Bourgeois workshop
-
They are then vacuum-sealed and shipped to Eastman
-
A select team of expertly trained Eastman luthiers completes the build using Bourgeois designs and tonal philosophy
This ensures every guitar delivers the authentic Bourgeois character, while maintaining outstanding value.
