The Collings OM2H is a refined Orchestra Model acoustic guitar that blends exceptional balance, responsiveness, and tonal complexity in one of the most versatile body shapes ever created. Originally designed as an “Orchestra Model,” the OM has become a favourite among fingerstyle players for its articulate response and balanced tonal character, while flatpickers and lead players appreciate its projection, clarity, and effortless playability across the entire fingerboard.

Built with a Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, the OM2H delivers shimmering highs, a focused midrange, and tight, piano-like low-end response with excellent dynamic headroom. Its relatively shallow body depth and compact shape provide immediate note response and exceptional comfort whether on stage, in the studio, or at home.

The OM2H features Collings’ elegant 2-style appointments, including herringbone purfling, zipper backstrip, and abalone diamond and square fingerboard inlays, giving the instrument a timeless vintage-inspired appearance. A modified V neck profile and compound-radius ebony fingerboard provide a highly comfortable and precise playing experience suited to intricate fingerstyle work, flatpicking, and melodic lead playing.
