Built with the same construction quality as Collings’ fully appointed mandolin models, the MF delivers the rich, woody tone, projection, and dynamic sensitivity demanded by serious players while maintaining a more minimalist satin-finished presentation.

Its fully carved Adirondack spruce top paired with Eastern flamed maple back and sides produces outstanding clarity, chop, and note separation with impressive warmth and tonal complexity. The F-hole configuration and tone bar bracing provide strong projection and articulation ideal for bluegrass, ensemble work, folk, and acoustic performance settings.
