Dirty Sock Effects
Dirty Sock Effects Transistoriser Fuzz Pedal
The Transistoriser takes inspiration from underrated fuzz classics of the late ’60s and early ’70s—like the Shin-Ei FY-2 and Mosrite Fuzzrite—but with modern upgrades that make it far more versatile. Unlike many vintage fuzz pedals that struggle to hit unity gain, the Transistoriser has plenty of output level, with unity sitting below 4 on the volume control.
The Fuzz control ranges from spitty, low-gain drive to blown-out silicon fuzz, while the Texture knob blends in an additional transistor stage for upper harmonics, extra gain, and unique tonal character. Together, these controls offer everything from cutting riffs to smoother chord-friendly tones.
The Thick/Thin switch fine-tunes the bass response, helping you match the pedal to your guitar, bass, or amp setup. Darker guitars and bass players will love the flexibility—cutting low end in “Thin” mode or restoring massive depth in “Thick” mode.
Handcrafted for tonal exploration, the Transistoriser delivers unique fuzz textures not found in other modern fuzz pedals, while still covering familiar, vintage-inspired ground.
