Born from a three-year collaboration between Benson Amps and Jessica Dobson of Deep Sea Diver, the Benson Deep Sea Diver Fuzz Echo merges lush analog fuzz with expressive delay in one uniquely creative box. Designed to capture Jessica’s dynamic sound — from hazy shoegaze walls to biting leads — this pedal is a dream for players who crave texture, movement, and sonic depth.

Two Worlds, One Pedal

Starting with a silicon three-transistor fuzz inspired by classic MK1.5 and MK2 circuits, Benson fine-tuned it to perfection. The Bias and Gate controls interact to shape tones ranging from glassy treble boosts to thick, dark saturation and sputtery gated fuzz. Every adjustment reveals new tonal colors and character — it’s endlessly inspiring.

On the other side, a PT2399-based echo circuit adds warm, vintage-style repeats. Adjust Time, Feedback, and Level to create subtle ambience or swirling chaos. Hold down the footswitch to push the echo into self-oscillation — a signature sound of Deep Sea Diver recordings.

Switchable Signal Order

Choose your signal flow with power-on selection:

• Green LED: Fuzz before Echo for traditional drive tones

• Orange LED: Echo before Fuzz for washed-out, experimental ambience

This flexibility lets you dial in tones from sharp, focused leads to sprawling, modulated soundscapes.
