Electronic Audio Experiments Greathammer Bass Driver
The Electronic Audio Experiments Greathammer is a bass-focused overdrive designed to deliver massive solid-state thunder with clarity, punch, and serious low-end extension. Inspired by a beloved 1970s Canadian bass amp but rebuilt from the ground up, the Greathammer captures that classic piano-like attack while expanding the tonal range into everything from tasteful drive to filthy, down-tuned mayhem.
With an enormous gain range and deep low frequency response, the Greathammer avoids the disconnected feel of a typical clean blend, keeping your tone full and cohesive. It works brilliantly in front of an amp or as a dedicated preamp, and despite being designed with bass in mind, it sounds equally striking on guitar.
