Kamaka HP-1 D Deluxe Pineapple Soprano Ukulele
The Kamaka Soprano Pineapple Deluxe Ukulele elevates one of Hawaii’s most iconic ukulele designs with refined materials and premium detailing. Originally invented and patented in 1928 by Kamaka founder Sam Kamaka, Sr., the pineapple-shaped soprano remains a hallmark of Hawaiian luthiery. Its rounded body produces a fuller, deeper, and rounder tone compared to traditional figure-eight soprano models, while retaining the bright, classic soprano voice.
The Deluxe trim enhances this historic design with upgraded tonewoods, elegant rope detailing, and premium appointments throughout. Crafted by skilled luthiers at the Kamaka factory in Honolulu, this instrument blends traditional Hawaiian sound with elevated aesthetics and feel, making it a standout choice for collectors and players alike.
Each Kamaka ukulele includes a custom Kamaka-branded hard case, designed specifically to match the body size and length of the instrument. The vinyl-wrapped plywood case features a padded velvet interior, arched protective top, and accessory compartment for safe transport and storage.
