The Matchless Independence 35 is the first 35-watt, 3-channel amplifier in Matchless history — delivering boutique craftsmanship with expanded tonal versatility. Each channel is visually represented by illuminated red, white, and blue lighting alongside the iconic backlit Matchless nameplate.

From articulate cleans to aggressive high-gain leads, the Independence 35 covers serious ground. Channel 2 (white), powered by a 12AX7, delivers chunky rhythm and high-gain lead tones, while Channel 3 (red) is designed for fiery drive and powerful saturation. A bypassable master volume with a cut control allows precise shaping of highs and overall thickness.

The power section features a 5AR4 rectifier and 2 x EL34 power tubes, delivering 35 watts of cathode self-biased output. A 3-position rotary impedance switch ensures compatibility with a range of speaker configurations, and all channels are switchable via the included footswitch.
