The Matchless SC30 is the 1x12 version of the legendary DC30, delivering the same iconic tonal palette in a more compact single-speaker configuration. Sharing its DNA with the amp that helped redefine boutique amplification, the SC30 offers rich, harmonically complex tone with incredible touch sensitivity and dynamic response.

Producing 30 conservatively rated watts from a quartet of EL84 power tubes, the SC30 features two distinct channels — each with unique voicing and tone controls. The true Class A design ensures lush cleans, articulate edge-of-breakup tones, and full-bodied power tube saturation across virtually any musical style.

Channel 1 is built around two 12AX7s in a parallel-triode circuit with interactive bass and treble controls, while Channel 2 features a high-gain EF86 pentode paired with a six-position tone switch for fast, repeatable tonal shaping. A bypassable master volume and cut control provide further flexibility, along with high/low power switching and selectable output impedance.

Housed in a hand-made 11-ply 3/4” Baltic birch cabinet and finished with Matchless’ signature backlit nameplate, the SC30 is built for serious stage and studio performance.
