The Catalinbread RAH is a dynamic amp-style overdrive inspired by the huge, articulate sound of a vintage Hiwatt-style amplifier pushed hard, with its voicing based around the legendary live guitar tones associated with Jimmy Page's Royal Albert Hall performance.

Rather than behaving like a conventional mid-focused overdrive, the RAH is designed to recreate the response of a powerful British valve amplifier. It offers a big, open sound with excellent note definition, strong low-end response, and plenty of dynamic range. It responds particularly well to picking attack and your guitar's volume control, moving naturally between cleaner sounds, crunchy rhythm tones, and saturated classic-rock drive.
