The Fulltone OF-2 Octafuzz is Fulltone's recreation of the legendary Tycobrahe Octavia, delivering the aggressive octave-up fuzz tones associated with classic Hendrix-style sounds while adding a switchable straight fuzz mode for considerably greater versatility.

This used example is in excellent condition, has been fully tested and sounds fantastic.

Fulltone designed the Octafuzz around the original Tycobrahe Octavia circuit, going as far as recreating the original transformer and using the same brand of transistors found in the vintage units. The OF-2 takes that circuit and packages it into a smaller, pedalboard-friendly enclosure.

In OCTA mode, the OF-2 produces its distinctive octave-up fuzz with unusual harmonic overtones and an almost ring-modulator-like character. The octave becomes particularly pronounced when playing higher up the neck with the neck pickup selected, making it perfect for soaring single-note leads and psychedelic fuzz textures.

Flip the toggle to FUZZ and the octave effect is removed, transforming the pedal into a thick, compressed and powerful standalone fuzz with excellent sustain. Despite the intensity available, it remains responsive to the guitar's volume control and can clean up remarkably well when the volume is rolled back.

With just Volume and Boost controls alongside the Octa/Fuzz selector, the OF-2 is extremely straightforward to dial in while covering everything from cutting vintage octave fuzz to huge, saturated conventional fuzz tones.
