The Gibson L-00 Century 12-Fret Vintage Sunburst brings the warm, responsive character of a 12-fret neck joint to Gibson’s celebrated small-bodied L-00 acoustic. Part of the Century Collection celebrating 100 years of Gibson flat-tops, it combines vintage-inspired appointments with a construction designed particularly well for fingerstyle playing and lighter picking dynamics.

The 12th-fret neck-to-body joint positions the bridge closer to the centre of the body’s widest area, allowing it to drive the top efficiently for a warm, punchy and resonant response. The L-00 body combines a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, finished in thin satin nitrocellulose lacquer with single-ply cream binding.

Its mahogany neck features Gibson’s comfortable SlimTaper 12-Fret profile and a compound dovetail joint secured with hot hide glue. The rosewood fingerboard has 19 standard frets, a 12" radius and simple mother-of-pearl dot inlays.

Vintage-inspired details include a sloped rectangle rosewood bridge, early-1900s Gibson script headstock logo and cream-button tuners. A bone nut and saddle and TUSQ bridge pins complete the specification. Supplied in a premium Century Collection tweed hardshell case.
