A highly collectable original 1980 Ibanez TS-808 Overdrive Pro Tube Screamer, serial number #132948, from the original golden era of Japanese Tube Screamer production.

The 1980 build date is supported by the serial number and period-correct construction details.

This example has several important characteristics associated with early TS-808 production, including the Ibanez ® registered trademark logo, TS-808 designation with the dash, and the period-style power jack without the external retaining nut.

Internally, the pedal features a Texas Instruments RC4558P Malaysian op-amp, an original chip type documented in TS-808s from this era. It also features the characteristic green capacitors and green resistors associated with the period.
