At the heart of the TubeDreamer mk.2 is the legendary JRC4558D chip, paired with a carefully voiced circuit that produces warm mids and natural clarity without sounding congested. Improved low-gain resolution allows for finer tonal shaping at subtle settings, making it equally effective as a boost, edge-of-breakup drive, or full overdrive.

The asymmetrical 3-diode clipping stage responds dynamically to picking attack and playing nuances, while the new no-diode clipping mode provides a more open, amp-like response with greater headroom and articulation.

For live performance flexibility, the mk.2 introduces a dedicated high-gain footswitch, effectively giving players access to an additional gain stage on demand.
