Ryan Breslin
Ryan Breslin Spruce & Rosewood Handmade Classical 2025 No. 15 w/Case
This guitar is a finely crafted, Australian-made instrument built with traditional techniques and premium tonewoods. Constructed by Wollongong-based luthier Ryan Breslin, this early model (Serial No. 15) represents a refined approach to classical guitar building, completed across 2025–2026.
Featuring an Italian spruce soundboard paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, this guitar delivers a rich, resonant voice with strong bass response and smooth, lyrical trebles. The tonal character is further enhanced by a low body resonance in E, giving the instrument depth and warmth ideally suited to classical repertoire and expressive playing.
Built using traditional Spanish construction methods, including a solera build, Spanish heel neck joint, and seven-fan bracing pattern, this guitar offers excellent structural integrity and tonal transfer. The use of hot hide glue and a French polish finish ensures maximum resonance and a responsive, open sound.
The Australian red cedar neck is internally reinforced with a carbon fibre rod for added stability, while premium appointments such as an ebony fingerboard, Indian rosewood bridge, cocobolo bindings, and German-made Rubner tuners complete this high-quality instrument.
