Silica Sound Tone Bars bring a completely unique approach to steel guitar tone bars: handblown glass on the outside with a brass core inside. The glass exterior helps reduce harsh metallic overtones and gives the smooth, fast feel players love from glass, while the brass core adds the mass and sustain typically associated with full-metal bars. The result is a bar that feels like glass, but responds with the authority and sustain of brass—ideal for lap steel, dobro, and pedal steel players chasing clarity with rich, singing sustain.
