Crafted with a solid Sitka spruce top and layered Indian rosewood back and sides, this new acoustic-electric model brings the compact, accommodating Grand Concert body shape to the 200 Series in a form that’s both classic and contemporary. Players will appreciate the clarity and balance of the layered rosewood/spruce tonewood pairing, and the Grand Concert body’s natural articulation—along with the narrower nut width—makes it a great fit for fingerstyle players and recording applications. Visual details for the 212ce include white binding with a matching three-ring rosette, 4mm dot fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic, chrome tuning machines, a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, and a matte finish.
