Melos
Melos Mini Fazer Made in Japan '70s Era Phaser Pedal - Used
Product Description
Used – Good Vintage Condition
The Melos Mini Fazer is a rare vintage Japanese phaser dating from the 1970s era, offering a wonderfully simple, old-school analogue phase sound. Period examples of the Mini Fazer were made in Japan and are closely related to the Univox Micro Fazer and other Shin-ei/Companion OEM phasers of the period.
This used example presents in good condition for its age and is a fantastic choice for players looking for genuine vintage modulation rather than a modern recreation.
The Mini Fazer keeps things beautifully simple with a single Rate control governing the speed of the phasing effect. Its sound is smooth, mellow and distinctly vintage, ranging from slow, watery movement through to faster swirling modulation.
Contemporary advertising from 1977 described the Melos Mini-Phaser as producing a particularly deep phase effect with just speed control and an effect footswitch—exactly the straightforward approach that makes these early pedals so appealing today.
A cool and increasingly uncommon piece of Japanese effects history with plenty of character.
