The Marc Beneteau Concert is a beautifully crafted boutique acoustic guitar from highly regarded Canadian luthier Marc Beneteau. Combining a naturally aged cedar top with mahogany back and sides, this instrument sounds incredible, with a warm, responsive voice, excellent clarity, and outstanding dynamic sensitivity.

This is a well-played guitar with plenty of character. The cedar top has aged beautifully and responds immediately to a light touch, producing a mature, open sound with excellent detail and harmonic complexity. The mahogany back and sides complement the cedar with woody warmth, strong fundamental notes, and excellent definition.

There are many playing marks and fingernail marks throughout, as indicated in the photos. These are cosmetic and consistent with an instrument that has been genuinely played and enjoyed. Rather than detracting from the guitar, they give it the honest character of a hand-built acoustic that has seen plenty of music.

Professionally restrung, serviced, and setup in-store, the guitar plays beautifully and is an exceptionally inspiring instrument. The Concert body size offers a comfortable feel with impressive projection and balance, particularly well suited to fingerstyle, accompaniment, recording, and expressive acoustic playing.

Frets are in good condition with plenty of life remaining, and the truss rod functions perfectly.
