Vemuram Myriad Fuzz Pedal

The Vemuram Myriad Fuzz is a highly tweakable hybrid fuzz created in collaboration with Josh Smith. Combining a selected silicon transistor with a vintage germanium transistor, it covers everything from spitty, aggressive fuzz to smooth, overdrive-like sustain, with tons of headroom and dynamic response.

Product Overview

Born from one half of Josh Smith’s original “Myriad” concept, the Myriad Fuzz is the fuzz he “had in mind for over 10 years.” It uses both germanium and silicon transistors to deliver a huge range of voices while staying musical and easy to dial in—there are effectively no bad sounds on the knob.

The FEEL control works together with an internal Germanium Bias trimmer, letting you fine-tune the character and response of the fuzz from fire-breathing and cutting to warm, vintage and smooth. It cleans up beautifully from your guitar’s volume knob and has plenty of output to push any amp, making it equally at home on stage or in the studio.

Clipping & Tone Behaviour

The Myriad Fuzz is designed to:

• Go from spitty, high-gain fuzz to smooth, overdriven textures

• Clean up like a vintage fuzz when you roll back your guitar’s volume

• Stay dynamic and organic, reacting to your pick attack and touch

• Provide a large amount of volume on tap, ideal for cutting through a live mix

The top panel Germanium Bias trimmer (working with the FEEL knob) lets you refine the bias point of the germanium side, shifting the pedal from looser, gnarlier fuzz to tighter, smoother sustain.
