The Xotic Effects RC Booster V2 is a highly regarded transparent boost and low-gain overdrive designed to enhance your core guitar tone without sacrificing its natural character. The RC Booster V2 provides 20dB+ of transparent clean boost alongside an active two-band EQ offering ±15dB of Bass and Treble adjustment. This makes it easy to compensate for different guitars and amplifiers, add presence and definition, or push the front end of a valve amp while retaining the character of your instrument.

The V2 expands on the original RC Booster with a second gain stage. Gain 1 establishes your core boost or drive sound, while the dedicated Gain 2 footswitch adds the second gain control to Gain 1, providing an instant step up in drive and saturation for solos or heavier passages.

Run the gain low for a clean, articulate boost, use the active EQ to fine-tune your rig, or increase the gain controls for warm, natural crunch. The pedal can also operate at 9V or 18V, with 18V providing additional headroom and dynamics.
