The Cole Clark True Hybrid TL2EC-BLBL-AE-HSS All Blackwood Acoustic Electric Guitar represents an innovative approach to modern guitar design, combining the expressive character of a premium acoustic guitar with the versatility of a fully functional electric guitar. Designed and built in Australia, the True Hybrid series offers musicians the freedom to move between acoustic and electric sounds without changing instruments.

Featuring an all-solid Australian Blackwood body with a comfortable thinline Grand Auditorium design, the TL2EC delivers rich acoustic resonance in a streamlined, stage-friendly format. Cole Clark's Finite Element Analysis (F.E.A.) internal bracing is engineered to optimise structural performance, while the AA-grade Australian Blackwood top, back and sides provide a distinctive tonal character with warmth, clarity and natural responsiveness.

At the heart of the acoustic sound is Cole Clark's acclaimed PG3 acoustic pickup system, delivering detailed, natural amplified acoustic tone. For electric performance, the guitar features an HSS configuration of Cole Clark True Balance magnetic pickups, with two single coils and a bridge humbucker. These innovative pickups are specifically designed to compensate for the magnetic response of phosphor bronze acoustic strings, providing balanced output across all six strings.

A five-way pickup selector provides familiar electric guitar switching options, while the push-pull tone control offers series or parallel operation for the bridge humbucker. A mini three-way toggle allows players to select acoustic, electric or combined operation, with two separate outputs providing flexible routing to acoustic and electric amplification systems.

The Queensland Maple neck, She Oak fingerboard and comfortable cutaway design provide excellent playability, while the natural satin nitrocellulose finish highlights the beauty of the Australian Blackwood construction.
