A fine student instrument, the Goodtime banjo produces a vibrant ringing tone from its natural finished violin grade maple rim. This version features a scooped fingerboard preferred by many players of old time frailing and clawhammer styles, not desirable for bluegrass or other styles that use the upper end of the fretboard.
