The Emerson Premier Pro Les Paul 500K 3/4" Long Shaft Prewired Kit is a handwired electronics harness designed for USA Gibson Les Paul guitars. Handwired in the USA using '50s-style wiring, the harness is designed to provide a strong, transparent response while reducing the typical treble loss that can occur when rolling back the guitar's volume controls.

The kit uses four Emerson Premier Pro 500K split-shaft potentiometers, paired with Emerson Bumblebee Paper in Oil capacitors specifically valued for the bridge and neck controls. A USA-made Switchcraft J11 1/4" mono jack and vintage-spec buss wire complete the prewired assembly.

With '50s-style wiring, the volume and tone controls interact with one another and provide a smooth, responsive range. Rolling back the guitar volume can also clean up an overdriven amplifier while retaining greater clarity.

Designed around US-spec components, installation into some import guitars may require enlarging the control holes. The Premier Pro split-shaft pots are designed for USA-spec 24-spline push-on knobs, so replacement knobs may also be required depending on the guitar.
