This 1997 USA-built example is a beautifully crafted archtop that has matured gracefully over nearly three decades.

Featuring a carved spruce top paired with carved figured maple back and sides, the L-4 CES produces exceptional clarity, warmth, and dynamic response. The pair of Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers faithfully capture both the acoustic character of the instrument and the classic PAF-inspired electric tones that suit everything from traditional jazz to blues and fusion.
