The IK Multimedia TONEX BOARD is an all-in-one guitar and bass processor designed to bring the full TONEX ecosystem into a powerful, flexible platform for stage and studio. Powered by AI-driven Tone Models, it combines hyper-realistic amp, cabinet and stompbox modelling with extensive effects, flexible routing and comprehensive connectivity.

TONEX BOARD supports up to four simultaneous Tone Models per preset, with one amp and one stomp model available on each of its two parallel paths. Up to 12 effect slots can be used within a signal chain, alongside splitters and mixers for building sophisticated rigs. More than 70 built-in effects derived from AmpliTube and custom-designed processors cover a wide range of stompbox and studio-style processing.

Its dual parallel paths can also be assigned to independent inputs and outputs, allowing two instruments to run through the BOARD simultaneously with their own dedicated processing chains. A movable stereo effects loop can be positioned anywhere in the chain or divided into two independent mono loops for integrating external pedals and processors.

For live performance, Preset, Scene and Stomp modes provide different approaches to controlling sounds, while five encoders and a high-resolution 5-inch colour touchscreen offer fast access to parameters. Up to 1,400 presets can be stored onboard, with 12 setlists available for organising sounds.

TONEX BOARD integrates with ToneNET, providing access to more than 60,000 Tone Models, and is compatible with TONEX presets created using TONEX for Mac/PC, TONEX ONE and TONEX Pedal. A Custom IR Loader is included for importing impulse responses, while IK's VIR technology provides additional control over cabinet sounds.

Extensive connectivity includes stereo input, dual independent stereo outputs via XLR and TRS, MIDI In/Out, two external control connections, headphone output and USB-C. TONEX BOARD also functions as a 4-in/2-out USB audio interface with direct monitoring, making it equally at home as the centrepiece of a live rig or recording setup.
