The IK Multimedia TONEX Cab is a professional FRFR powered guitar cabinet designed to bring the realism, dynamics and feel of modern amp modelers, capture systems and Tone Models into the room with the impact of a traditional guitar amplifier.

Rather than behaving like a conventional PA speaker or stage wedge, TONEX Cab uses advanced DSP, a custom 12" Celestion guitar speaker, a 1" Lavoce compression driver and a real wood enclosure to deliver a more natural, responsive playing experience. Its exclusive AMP TONE control allows you to adjust the cabinet’s response for greater amp-like resonance, feel and interaction with the room.

With 350 watts RMS / 700 watts peak of Class-D power and up to 132 dB maximum SPL, TONEX Cab delivers the volume, punch and clarity required for demanding live environments while remaining compact and portable. It is equally suited to TONEX Tone Models, other amp modelers, analogue preamps, acoustic instruments and time-based effects.

An onboard IR loader expands its flexibility further, allowing you to load your own cabinet impulse responses or use the included collection of 50 premium studio-grade IRs. A programmable three-band EQ, eight memory locations and MIDI control make it easy to tailor the cabinet to different rooms, instruments and rigs without needing to edit every preset on your modeler.

For professional live setups, TONEX Cab offers flexible connectivity including XLR and 1/4" inputs, AUX input, balanced XLR output with selectable pre/post processing, ground lift, MIDI and USB. Multiple TONEX Cabs can also be linked for stereo, Wet/Dry, Wet/Dry/Wet or larger multi-cab systems.
