The J. Rockett PXO Phil X Signature Boost & Overdrive is a flexible dual-function pedal developed as a practical live and studio tool for guitarist Phil X. Combining independent overdrive and boost sections, the PXO allows the boost to be positioned pre or post overdrive, giving you greater control over how the two circuits interact.

The overdrive section provides dedicated Volume, Gain, Overdrive and EQ controls for shaping everything from a supportive drive sound to a more pushed response. On the boost side, a separate Tilt EQ provides straightforward tonal adjustment without adding unnecessary complexity.

Switching the boost between pre and post positions opens up different ways to cascade the two sections. Run it before the overdrive to push the drive circuit harder, or position it after the overdrive for a different approach to level and EQ shaping.

Voiced with a lush, thick low end and smooth top end, the PXO is designed to respond naturally to playing dynamics while working comfortably alongside other pedals and a variety of backline setups.
