Katoh Torres 1889 is based on one of Antonio Torres later classical prototype models. This model has a clear and pure sound, with an incredible dynamic range and distinct character thanks to the unique set of features which include a shorter 640mm (25 3/16") scale length, a solid spruce top, solid maple back and sides, fan bracing, ebony fingerboard, and beautiful wooden detailling.
