Keeley Fuzz Bender 3 Transistor Hybrid Fuzz
Product Description
The Keeley Fuzz Bender is a five-knob, three-transistor fuzz combining high-gain silicon with smooth vintage Japanese germanium for a huge range of modern and classic fuzz textures. Its hybrid circuit is paired with powerful active EQ and adjustable bias, allowing you to shape everything from thick, saturated square waves to sharp, angular fuzz and broken, Velcro-style sounds.
Unlike traditional fuzz pedals with limited tone shaping, the Fuzz Bender uses gyrator-based active Bass and Treble controls. With over 20dB of boost or cut at 100Hz and 10kHz, the EQ can dramatically reshape the fuzz response, from massive low-end weight to cutting, aggressive highs. This extended range also makes the Fuzz Bender equally useful with guitar or bass.
The Bias control adjusts the operating character of the fuzz circuit, changing the attack and decay of your notes. Turn it one way for a fuller, smoother and more sustained response; move towards the opposite extreme for increasingly gated, spluttery and glitchy Velcro-style attack.
Large Level and Fuzz controls make adjustments easy, while top-mounted jacks help keep pedalboard connections tidy. Designed and made in the USA, the Keeley Fuzz Bender combines hybrid transistor fuzz with unusually powerful tone shaping for players who want to push well beyond conventional fuzz sounds.
