Orange Sustain Optical Compressor Pedal - Used

Product Description

Used – As New in Box

The Orange Sustain is a modern recreation of a rare, long-discontinued Orange compressor/sustain circuit, brought back to life after information about the original design resurfaced through the guitar community.

Designed almost like an overdrive for your clean tone, the Sustain smooths and evens out dynamics while preserving the natural character of your guitar. Softer notes are brought forward and louder peaks controlled, creating a more consistent response with increased sustain and a smooth, chiming quality.

It can also provide a clean volume boost without sacrificing clarity, soften the initial attack of each note and produce long, warm sustain particularly suited to expressive lead playing, hammer-ons and fluid passages.

The updated circuit uses a differential side-chain for a smoother compression bloom, while the LED changes from blue to purple to visually indicate when gain reduction is occurring.

This example presents as new and includes the original box.
