Inspired by Bob Taylor's original designs, the 714ce reintroduces the much-loved cedar and rosewood pairing to Taylor's standard lineup. The cedar top offers exceptional touch sensitivity and a mellow, responsive character, making it particularly rewarding for fingerstyle players and guitarists with a lighter touch. Indian rosewood adds depth, warmth and harmonic complexity, producing a lush, balanced sound across the frequency spectrum.

Taylor's next-generation scalloped V-Class bracing enhances volume, sustain and open-string resonance while maintaining excellent clarity and note separation. The innovative Action Control Neck features a long-tenon joint that contributes additional warmth and tonal depth, alongside a patented adjustment system that allows convenient, precise changes to string height.
