Ome

Ome Wizard 12" 5-String Open Back Banjo

The Ome Wizard 12" Open-Back Banjo is a beautifully crafted old-time instrument, offering exceptional responsiveness, depth, and clarity. Built with Ome’s renowned 2-ply maple Tone Rim construction, the Wizard delivers a warm, articulate voice enhanced by increased rim bracket counts—26 brackets on the 12" model for improved tonal depth and dynamic response.

The Wizard features elegant inlay work including a Mother-of-Pearl five-pointed star in the Victorian peghead and a four-pointed star in the fingerboard’s S-scoop. A South American mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and aged brass hardware complete its traditional, handcrafted aesthetic. With its Trillium bridge, Sweetone tailpiece, and Renaissance head, the Wizard is perfectly voiced for clawhammer and old-time styles. A deluxe plush-lined hard-shell case is included.
